You may or may not remember the pedalboard project I did with found bits of a discarded bookcase. If you need a refresher (or a first look) go here now.
Well, I just couldn’t leave well enough alone. I am a Doctor Who fan and felt like showing that via my pedal board. If you don’t know, this is a TARDIS, and here is a picture.
And here is what I did to my pedalboard. Much painting and varnishing to get it to stand up to a beating. The badge and sign are just printed paper that I then varnished to the wood. I am really pleased at how it turned out. There were quite a few times when I thought I had messed it up, but then it turned out to just look better and better. Any other Who-heads out there?

That does look pretty cool. Have you thought about making some to sell on eBay? I actually did this before. I had a Vox ToneLab (desktop version) and made folding stands for them. I bought all the hardware cheap and they looked pretty cool. I didn’t make much money, but had fun doing it and made some friends. I really love DIY projects like you have done. Keep up the good work!
