You read that right. Idito the Chicken and Moonpie Nobot. That’s the name of the new music project/band Mrs. Muffin and I are working on. It’s been a somewhat nebulous process until recently. Mostly it was her music with me helping out from time to time. Recently things seemed to have coalesced as we happened into doing one original Christmas song a day until Christmas. I am really excited about this. Some of the rest of the material is acoustic nerd rock in approach. Here’s an excellent example of Idito’s brilliant song writing: Sundappled Robots I heart her so!!!

OK, yes I did get introduced to Theresa Anderson through following Wil Wheaton on Twitter. I’m a geek. Whatcha gonna do? Anyway, check her out! She was born in Sweden and came to New Orleans in 1990. The myth behind her new found fame is that she made a video of herself to show the clubs she would be playing at how she would be touring and it took off from there. Another tale is that she got her one person band idea from a puppet show. Either way, this is pretty cool. There are a lot of two person bands out there and even a few other one person bands. Let me know if there are others you know of. Technology is so super fantastico cool.
